    Hmm, it has a quad op-amp, head set, volume pot and a parabolic dish thingy.. Runs from a 9v battery.. You sir, have got a secret services (CIA) directional listening device!! Why don't you connect it up and see what it does? Point the dish thingy at your neighbours window! I have no idea...

    I am no expert by any means. But it does look like a switch. It could be a centrifugal switch. But as @dorke pointed out, maybe the values are too small. I am still searching parts for you unit. Not getting very far BTW. I never give up!! Martin

    Thanks Guy, If it doesn't have two motors or a separate fan, would you mind posting a picture of the board where the three wires attach to the board? Might give somebody else a clue, while I am searching parts for your machine. Or be obvious to a 'vintage' member here:) @duke37 :p

    Hi Guy, That size cap would normally be a motor cap. Can you show a picture of the top please. I am wondering if two wires are connected to one terminal or whether it is a dual capacitor. Martin

    Apart from what Bob said, How about a kenwood model number too. Is it standard 240v? It's likely to be a motor/run capacitor. Martin
