dwangyahoo Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Hi,I'm a software engineer that has some electronics ideas and I like to build some prototypes.Does anyone have any suggestions how I can find someone to do it?First project is a voltage regulator for automotive alternators...I want to generate 72vdc or more rather than just 12vdc.Thanks,Danny Quote
ampman731 Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 You can call me at 707-535-9431 to discuss your prototype building. Quote
ante Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 You can wire three 24 VDC alternators in series to get 72 VDC, this works fine. Or you can re-wind the stator in an existing alternator if you only got room for one alternator. No big deal. Quote
Ldanielrosa Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 When regulators fail, many alternators will produce voltages of which you speak at moderate engine speeds. You may be able to replace the regulator and change the pulley ratios to get the power source you seek. Quote

Medical professionals are practicing not only medicine but also electronics to make their analysis and test procedures simpler. As a pasttime , i sincerely feel thaT YOU MAY BE ENTHUSED TO REALIZE YOUR IDEAS IN 3dBY YOURSELF AND I AM SURE , YOU WILL BE DERIVING GREATER SATISFACTION.nOW A DAYS IT IS NOT DIFFICULT TO FIND A INSTITUTIONknoWN TO YOU WHERE THE students are craving to do projects. you could perhaps be a guide to them and it serves dual purpose.Sarma Quote
