Kevin Weddle Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 Does anybody know about IC's. I've seen many electronics components, but haven't researched their designs. How complicated can they be? Quote
Hero999 Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 The schematic can often be found on the datasheet but it's normally in a simplified form. Quote
Kevin Weddle Posted January 13, 2010 Author Report Posted January 13, 2010 Amplifier designs are easier, but many IC's have designs so large that they are hard to understand. It's guess work to me. Quote
Hero999 Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 Care to name the IC in question? You should have done that in the first post. Quote
Kevin Weddle Posted January 13, 2010 Author Report Posted January 13, 2010 Video processing circuits are a good example. Much more complicated than most integrated circuits. Your really talking about the mathematics of electronics. Quote
indulis Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 Does anybody know about IC's. I've seen many electronics components, but haven't researched their designs. How complicated can they be?Sorry, but I have to ask.... KevinIV, do you have any formal electronics schooling? Do you work in the industry or is your intrest as a hobby?Google "SoC" (system on a chip) that is a good example as to "how complicated they can be". Quote
Kevin Weddle Posted January 14, 2010 Author Report Posted January 14, 2010 I'm not up to date if that's what you mean. I really don't have good access to high end electronics. Quote
