SONOFF “Basic DIN Rail” (codename BASIC-1GSP) is a Matter Over Wi-Fi smart switch, a one-channel smart metering switch for DIN rail installation. It is directly installed behind the miniature circuit breaker (MCB) in a residential distribution board to ensure safe control and smart management of a single circuit. The equipment features a variety of core functions such as remote switching, overload protection, real-time energy monitoring to monitor voltage, current, power and energy consumption.

The BASIC-1GSP can control high power circuits up to 32A (7,680W @ 240V AC) so it is compatible with electric floor heating, EV charging stations, water heaters and other heavy-duty devices. The device also emphasizes safety with a double-pole safety switch and customizable overload protection.

The SONOFF BASIC-1GSP is compatible with the eWeLink mobile app. As it works over Matter someone can either scan the Matter QR code on the Quick Guide or the equipment itself to add the device to Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, Home Assistant or other Matter compatible apps. The SONOFF Basic DIN Rail smart switch can also be used in LAN mode without having Internet access. The user manual contains instructions on how to get started.
