  1. Dazza, I am not sure that I know enough to give advice here. This is my first experience with hall sensors that are not supplied to me as a part of a system. I picked this one from one of my suppliers based on small size, 5Volts supply, voltage output and don

  6. Yes, this sounds like a very weird circuit! I wish I could see it though.
  7. Audioguru, Well, 6 D cells will not fit in the box shown at the picture. It would have been a nice compact unit as discribed. How much current will it need when testing it with 50mV at 1kHz square wave input? What size of capacitor would I need with a PP3 to hang in there?
  8. Hi Audioguru, Do you think a 9-Volts battery will supply enough current for this? ;D

  11. Hi John, I was looking for the circuit described as 10W and powered from a 9Volt battery because I like to see how this was accomplished. I downloaded the firetrucksiren.wav file and use it as a

  13. There you see, the little man can change the world if stubborn enough! ;D
  14. Dazza, No it should not produce a stepper effect, quite the opposite. It should be related to the rpm as well as the throttle position and the output is analogue. The common methods used for maintaining the idle rpm on cars equipped with AC will work even in this application. The DS36C280 isn

  17. Hi Ken, Is it possible to control the rpm of your horizontal shaft? If you have the correct rpm you will also have the correct frequency.
  18. Hi Nicolas, MP, I use the LMC660 for strain gauges, it appears to be more suitable for this purpose than the LM324. I have tried both of them and the results have been much better whit the LMC660. I am not saying that the LM324 is not going to work here but if you can get the LMC660 you should try it.
  19. Hi John, The schematics for the 10W power amplifier seems to be missing, would be interesting to try to get 10W output from a 9Volt battery.
