Integrated Development Environment MicroCode Studio Plus is a convenient and functional application for writing and editing text programs for microcontrollers of the PIC family. In addition, the application allows you to compile programs into machine code, write them using the programmer to the microcontroller and implement in-circuit programming with the support of the built-in bootloader.

mikroBasic includes a BASIC compiler, code editor, debugger, a set of libraries for working with peripheral devices (I2C, RS-485, UART, SPI, USB, OneWire, PS / 2, etc.), as well as a number of ready-made examples that can be used in custom applications. The interface of the development environment is quite convenient, the creation of new projects takes place in an interactive mode. The mikroPascal program is a successful combination of an intuitive integrated development environment (IDE), an advanced text editor, a compiler that uses advanced optimization algorithms, as well as a huge amount of comprehensive documentation, ready-made examples and sets of libraries for hardware. The application supports six controller architectures: PIC (more than 485 8-bit models), dsPIC and PIC24 (over 313 16-bit models), PIC32MX (more than 60 32-bit models), AVR (more than 186 models), 8051 from Atmel and Silicon Labs (over 180 models) and STM32 based on ARM Cortex M3 and Cortex M4 (over 180 models).

The PICPgm Development Programmer (or simply PICPgm) application has a simple, friendly graphical interface and is designed to work with microcontrollers of the PIC family. The main package window consists of a menu, a toolbar, a tabbed working part and a status bar. Currently, the program supports 660 chips belonging to different series: PIC10F, PIC12F, PIC16F, PIC18F, PIC24H, PIC24F, dsPIC30F, dsPIC33F. The package is able to interact with a variety of different programmers that can be connected to a computer via USB, a printer port, or a serial COM port. You can select the programmer in the application settings. Among others there are such popular programmers as PICPgm USB and PICPgm LVISP, JDM, Microchip AN589, Trivial LVP, EPIC Parallel Port, P16PRO40, a whole group of Olimex programmers, as well as many others.

A small but very effective free software package for flashing PIC microcontrollers of various series. From the very beginning, WinPic800 (not to be confused with a similar WinPic programmer) was designed to interact with microcontrollers of the PIC family. Currently, a huge base (larger than the program of this kind IC-Prog) consists of the following classes of crystals: MicroChip PIC, ATMEL AVR 8-bit, MicroChip 16-bit Flash Microcontrollers PIC, MicroChip 32-bit PIC Microcontrollers, Microwire Serial EEPROM 93xx , EEPROM Serial I2C (standard, Microchip).
