New IPX8 Rated Barometric Pressure Sensor IC: High Accuracy, Waterproof and performs temperature compensation

BM1390GLV-Z is piezo-resistive pressure sensor. BM1390GLV-Z performs temperature compensation for MEMS inside chip internally, so it’s very easy to get pressure information. BM1390GLV-Z realizes waterproof by potting gel inside to protect.

ROHM’s new compact high accuracy barometric pressure sensor IC, BM1390GLV-Z performs temperature compensation for MEMS inside the chip internally, so it’s very easy to get pressure information. BM1390GLV (-Z) IC is featuring a waterproof rating of IPX8, ideal for home appliances, industrial equipment, and compact IoT devices. Altitude measurement, pressure control optimization and system control maintenance are some major applications of the pressure sensor IC.

The BM1390GLV IC achieves IPX8 waterproof performance in the same size as compact conventional packages (2.0mm × 2.0mm × 1.0mm) by combining MEMS and control circuitry cultivated over many years with original waterproof technology. The device adopts an original temperature compensation function and ceramic material in the package to achieve superior temperature characteristics.

The price of the product is $3.0/unit (samples, excluding tax) and has a mass availability.
