USB-C, DFP, 5V/3A Out, 85-265VAC In, Adapter, Low Cost Reference Design
The PMP11124 reference design uses the UCC28700 and TPS25810 to provide an isolated 5V at 3A over a USB type C interface. The UCC28700 implements primary-side regulation, eliminating the need for an opto-coupler and reducing the size and cost of the design.

The UCC28700 implements primary-side regulation, eliminating the need for an opto-coupler and reducing the size and cost of the design. Cost is further minimized by using an output diode instead of a synchronous rectifier.
