Vividnode Mobile AI Mini PC Packs 60 TOPS RISC-V Performance
Powered by SpacemiT K3, this compact system delivers 60 TOPS AI compute, 32GB RAM, and rich I/O for local LLM inference and edge AI development.
Vividnode RISC-V AI MiniPC
On the Japanese crowdfunding site Kibidango, an intricate system from ZUIKI based on a K3 RISC-V processor has been announced. The Vividnode Mobile AI is demonstrated as a small system for local development and inference. The heart of the Vividnode mini-PC is an 8-core RISC-V CPU that runs at 2.4 GHz. The SpacemiT K3 SoC represents what powers the system. It has eight A100 cores that can accommodate up to 60 TOPS of performance.
The mini PC can handle bigger LLMs when it has up to 32 GB of RAM. It includes 64 GB of UFS storage and an M.2 slot for adding more NVMe SSDs. Additionally, there are two Ethernet ports (10GbE and 1GbE), as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 for networking. There are several USB Type-C ports on the outside that let users connect to other devices. These ports support DisplayPort 4K output and power delivery/OTG. The whole system runs on a 40-watt power envelope, which should keep it cool and quiet. The Vividnode mini PC is also very small, measuring only 125 x 88 x 28 mm. The device is marketed as a standalone AI workstation, an external inference engine connected to a host system, or a shared node on a local network. The user is in charge of choosing models, setting up pipelines, and developing applications.

Vividnode Mobile AI peripherals
The system performs model computations locally via offline computations with on-device data processing. This solution is based on VividLinux AI, which is the proprietary Linux-based operating system that comes pre-loaded with numerous frameworks like PyTorch, ONNX Runtime, TensorFlow, and llama.cpp and can be set up using a browser within minutes without the need to use a terminal. Zuiki Vividnode Mobile AI mini PC is powered by VividLinux AI operating system that includes a number of pre-installed tools and frameworks. In particular, the platform has OpenCode, OpenClaw, and Qwen-30B capabilities. Moreover, the system supports speech processing, image recognition, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows.
As regards to price, the currently running crowdfunding campaign on the widely-used Japanese platform called Kibidango is the following: the 16 GB version without an SSD has a price tag of 173,000 yen or around $1,080 while the 32 GB version is offered for 255,000 yen or approximately $1,600. As usual for crowdfunding campaigns, there are early bird discounts as well.
