Volla Phone 22 with an “uncompromising” privacy protection gets 1000% crowdfunded

German designer Hallo Welt Systeme started a campaign for a smartphone that comes with uncompromised privacy protections two years ago and shipped thousands of devices across 55 countries across the globe. After the first successful year and continuous customer feedback ecosystem, the developers have come up with yet another smartphone with a classy design, high performance, and hardware sustainability– Volla Phone 22. Previously launched on Kickstarter raised 1000% more than the goal and has now moved the crowdfunding to the Indiegogo page, where you can still support and participate in the project.

The Volla Phone 22 has a minimalistic design with an embedded powerful CPU– MTK Helio G85, a mainstream Arm SoC for smartphones with 12nm FinFET process technology that integrates 8 CPU cores. There are two fast Arm Cortex-A75 cores clocked at a frequency of 2.0GHz for performance tasks and six small Arm Cortex-A55 processor cores at 1.8GHz for efficiency. The new devices come with a 3x higher camera resolution, 2x higher memory capacity and optimized performance through Mediatek HyperEngine technology. The additional option for two nano-SIM cards allows the design to enable users to use a memory card of up to half a terabyte at the same time.

Volla Phone 22 Springboard

A key highlight of the Volla Phone 22 is the second-generation Volla operating system that is “smarter, simpler, and more secure.” The only feature offered on the Volla Phone 22 is the ability to write an encrypted Signal message directly from the Springboard without having to open the app and reply directly with a Signal or Multi-Media Message in the matching conversation history. The springboard is the home screen where the developers have provided access to all important everyday functions and information to increase the level of efficiency “never seen before.”

If you are interested in pledging for the Volla Phone 22, head to the Indiegogo campaign page. Also, if you have missed the Kickstarter project, those residing in Europe can now pre-order the Volla Phone 22 regularly in the official online store.
