Youyeetoo YY3588 RK3588 Development Board Launches with up to 32GB RAM, 6 TOPS NPU, and Dual Ethernet

Youyeetoo has introduced a new RK3588 development board designed for edge AIoT and industrial automation applications. Built around Rockchip’s RK3588 flagship SoC, the board features an octa-core CPU with four Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 6 + Bluetooth 5.2 via the RTL8852BE module, optional 4G LTE through a Mini PCIe slot, and dual Ethernet ports with 1GbE and 2.5GbE support.

The RK3588 development board offers 4GB to 32GB of LPDDR4/4X memory running at up to 3200Mbps, along with a tri-core NPU delivering 6 TOPS of AI performance. Storage options cover onboard eMMC 5.1 (32GB–256GB), SPI Flash, M.2 NVMe 2280 SSDs, SATA 3.0, and MicroSD cards. With its high-performance CPU, integrated NPU, and flexible storage and connectivity, the board is suitable for demanding edge computing and industrial projects.

In terms of software, the YY3588 SoM supports multiple OS such as Android 14, Debian 12, Ubuntu 22.04, Buildroot, and OpenHarmony 5.1. Developer resources include a complete Yocto/Buildroot BSP with kernel 5.10 LTS, the RKNN-Toolkit2 for NPU tasks, and NFC API libraries for Android/debian integration.
