AAEON Unveils MIX-PTLWV1 Mini-ITX with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 SoC

The AAEON MIX-PTLWV1 is a Mini-ITX industrial motherboard built around Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, designed for edge AI, industrial automation, networking, transportation, digital signage, and other embedded computing applications. It combines modern Intel processing, high-speed networking, and multiple expansion interfaces in a compact 170 × 170 mm form factor.

The motherboard supports Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with a 15–25W TDP, up to 128GB of DDR5-6400 memory, and Intel Arc graphics capable of driving four 4K DisplayPort outputs, with optional LVDS/eDP display support. It offers a PCIe Gen5 x8 expansion slot, M.2 M-Key, E-Key, and B-Key slots with Nano SIM support, dual 2.5GbE LAN ports with optional dual 10GbE Ethernet, TPM 2.0, six serial ports including RS-232/422/485, programmable DIO, USB 3.2 Gen1 connectivity, watchdog timer, smart fan control, and 12V–24V DC input. These features make it suitable for industrial control, AI edge systems, machine vision, networking appliances, and embedded deployments.

The MIX-PTLWV1 supports Windows 11 (64-bit) and Ubuntu 24.04 with Linux Kernel 6.8. The company provides drivers for the chipset, graphics, LAN, audio, serial I/O, NPU, IPU, Intel Management Engine, and other platform components, along with Linux utilities and WMI packages for system management and hardware support.

AAEON has not announced pricing for the MIX-PTLWV1 yet. The motherboard is currently listed as a preliminary product, and interested customers can contact AAEON or its authorized distributors for pricing, availability, and bulk purchasing information.
