Argon40 has announced two Industria PoE+ HATs for the Raspberry Pi 5 that deliver power and data over a single Ethernet cable according to the IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ standard. Both boards can output up to 25W, and 5V/5A is required for full operation.

Standard Argon Industria PoE+ HAT is a perfect match for hobbyists and industries alike, showcasing its single-cable power and network connectivity with the IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ standard, providing up to 25W of safe and stable power. The Argon Industria PoE+ NVMe HAT is the ultimate Raspberry Pi 5 power and expansion solution. This NVMe variant also includes built-in M.2 NVMe (2230/2242) support through the Pi 5 PCIe port, meaning fast SSD storage and other devices can be added.

Both versions are made to work with a PoE injector or a PoE switch that is compatible and can deliver both power and network connectivity via one Ethernet cable. This can reduce cabling in installations such as clusters, remote systems, signage and embedded deployments. The boards have airflow openings and are designed for use with the Argon THRML 30 mm active cooler.

The Pi Hut sells the Argon Industria PoE+ HAT for $26.17 and Argon 40 sells it for $20.00, or $31.08 if users want the Argon Industria PoE+ HAT with NVMe from the Pi Hut and $25.00 from the Argon 40. The conventional model includes mounting hardware, while the NVMe model includes PCIe cables, M.2 screws, and a mini screwdriver.
