New ASUS Low-Power 3.5-Inch SBCs with Intel Core Ultra 5 and 7 Processors

ASUS Intel Core Ultra 5/7 3.5-inch SBC The ASUS C5153ES-IM-AA and C7156ES-IM-AA expand the company’s low-power 3.5-inch SBC lineup, pairing Intel Core Ultra 5/7 processors with wide-voltage input, rich expansion, and multi-display support for embedded and industrial deployments. ASUS Intel Core Ultra 5/7 3.5-inch SBC

The ASUS C5153ES-IM-AA and C7156ES-IM-AA expand the company’s low-power  3.5-inch  SBC lineup, pairing Intel Core Ultra 5/7 processors with wide-voltage input, rich expansion, and multi-display support for embedded and industrial deployments.

ASUS IoT has unveiled the C5153ES-IM-AA and C7156ES-IM-AA, two low-power 3.5-inch SBCs built around the Intel Core Ultra processors, designed for industrial and embedded computing where low power and high performance are essential.

Both boards support up to 64GB DDR5 memory, triple M.2 slots for NVMe, Wi-Fi, and 5G expansion, dual Ethernet (1GbE + 2.5GbE), and multiple display outputs including HDMI 2.1, DP 1.4, USB-C, and LVDS/eDP. They also integrate Realtek HD audio, TPM security, wide 9–36V DC input, and BIOS watchdog timer, making them suitable for edge AI, industrial control, and multi-display embedded systems.

The primary difference between the two SBCs lies in their processor specifications, while most other features remain the same.

Both the  SBCs support Microsoft Windows 11 IoT Enterprise and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, as well as Ubuntu Linux distributions. The platforms include BIOS-level watchdog functionality and an SPI TPM header for secure boot and encryption features, which ensures compatibility with enterprise-grade security and management requirements.

ASUS has not yet disclosed the pricing for the C7156ES-IM-AA and C5153ES-IM-AA Low-Power 3.5-Inch SBCs, but more information is available on the respective product pages.
