Graperain RV1126B SoM Packs a Rockchip AI Vision SoC and 3 TOPS NPU
Designed for AIoT, machine vision, and intelligent video applications, this module combines a quad-core Cortex-A53 processor, a 3 TOPS NPU, and 4K video processing.
Graperain has introduced a compact SoM based on the Rockchip RV1126B AI vision processor. Designed for AIoT, machine vision, and intelligent video applications, the module combines a quad-core Cortex-A53 processor, a 3 TOPS NPU, and 4K video processing in a 42 × 42 mm form factor. It uses a 160-pin castellated (stamp-hole) design for integration with custom carrier boards.
The SoM is available with 1GB to 4GB of RAM and up to 256GB eMMC storage, and provides interfaces including dual MIPI CSI, Gigabit Ethernet, CAN, USB 3.0, SDIO, UART, I2C, PWM, and MIPI DSI for embedded and industrial applications.

On the software side, the Graperain RV1126B SoM supports Buildroot and Debian 12. Graperain also offers a development board for the module together with BSPs, SDKs, documentation, and sample code.
The Graperain module joins other Rockchip RV1126B-based SoMs, including the Forlinx FET1126Bx-S with a 40 × 40 mm hybrid stamp-hole/LGA design and the Boardcon Tiny1126B, which measures 34 × 30 mm and uses dual 100-pin board-to-board connectors. Compared to the original RV1126 based on Cortex-A7 cores with a 2 TOPS NPU, the RV1126B upgrades to quad-core 64-bit Cortex-A53 CPUs and a 3 TOPS NPU.
