The ESP32-C5 development board supports Arduino IDE, PlatformIO, and ESP-IDF, giving developers multiple software options. PlatformIO users can clone the official GitHub repository, choose an example project, and build or upload firmware directly from Visual Studio Code. Arduino IDE users need the latest ESP32 board package and should select the ESP32C5 Dev Module before uploading code. Developers who prefer Espressif’s native framework can use ESP-IDF version 5.3 or newer. The board also includes LVGL v9.2.0, allowing developers to create modern graphical user interfaces for the integrated touchscreen with minimal setup.
