Orange Pi 4 Pro – Allwinner A733 Development Board

Orange Pi has recently introduced the Orange Pi 4 Pro, a high-performance SBC built around the Allwinner A733 octa-core processor (2×Cortex-A76 + 6×Cortex-A55), with a 3 TOPS NPU and BXM-4-64 GPU for edge computing and AI workloads. Designed for applications like robotics, smart gateways, industrial automation, and AI inference.

The board supports up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4, and Gigabit Ethernet with PoE, along with expansion options through PCIe 3.0 M.2 NVMe, eMMC, SPI flash, and microSD. It provides dual MIPI CSI camera interfaces, HDMI 2.0 output (up to 4K@60Hz), and a 4-lane MIPI DSI display interface. Additional features include USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, audio I/O, RISC-V E902 co-processor, and a compact 89×56mm PCB. With its open hardware ecosystem and balanced CPU–NPU–GPU configuration, the OPi 4 Pro is well-suited for AI edge devices, robotics control, education, and embedded system development.

The Orange Pi 4 Pro supports Ubuntu, Debian, and Android, with official images, source code, and tools available for download. It includes open documentation and schematics for developers. The NPU works with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and ONNX, allowing AI and edge computing applications to run easily.
