Description
4 Channel Infrared (IR) Remote controller is using HT12A and HT12D encoder / decoder chips from Holtek.
Features
- Supply – Transmitter : 3 to 5 VDC, 5 V @ 20 mA & Receiver : 5 VDC @ 200 mA
- Output : 4 channel Latch or Momentary on board Jumper for selection
- Crystal based oscillator for reliability of operation
- Jumper selectable 8 bit address code
- LED output to indicate reception
- On/Off slide switch in the transmitter
- Power-On LED indicator in the Receiver / Transmitter
- Valid transmission indicator
- 4 LED for Relay On/Off status
- Four mounting holes of 3.2 mm each

Circuit is tested and working as it should be. You can try it for your self.
what is size of pcb LAYOUT unit?
The transmitter PCB size is 46.36 x 59.69mm and receiver size is 86.36 x 83.19mm
Any alternative of IC’s i do not have and not in my region.

But these ICs are used for 433mhz transmitter and receiver, So will it work in IR also?????
They work for both RF and infrared transmissions.
i donT have HT12A IC SO CAN I USE HT12E IC ITS WORKING ORE NOT
I think it will not work as HT12E has slightly different characteristics.

As it is based on IR emitter and receiver, the range would be in the range of meters as a common TV remote control.
i dont hav 455khz crystal can i use 4Mhz
It is necessary to use a 455Khz crystal for the internal oscillator to work.

Which output voltage do you mean? With the output relays you can control many types of loads.

This project is used to control a load by turning it on or off but a drone needs motor speed control.
How to check ic ht12a working or not.
Check on pin 17 if signal is present when you press a button.
the BC557 transistor is PNP transistor or NPN transistor

Can I hold ON position in all four channel at a time ???
No, this is not possible with this project. If you press all switches at the same time, all outputs will go high, but then if you press any of the switches then all goes off.
I’m trying out the circuit using an ht12e instead of a ht12a , so I introduced a timer after to generate the 38khz necaessary for the tsop1738 . However there seems to be a problem with the transmission . The tsop1738 could not detect it . I wired up the data pins directly to check the working and it work Ed , but it was without ir . Could I have some help ?
The HT12E works somewhat different than the HT12A. It doesn’t have a 38khz carrier and it will trigger on different pin. The A is recommended for infrared usage.

No, the ICs on this project are not microcontrollers and do not require programming.
