ENS160 and BME280 Environmental Sensor Combo

The HX15 gateway runs Digi Embedded Yocto Linux on the STM32MP157C MPU, providing a stable environment for edge computing. The SparkFun IoT Node for LoRaWAN is very user-friendly and can be programmed using the Arduino IDE, MicroPython, and the Raspberry Pi Pico SDK (C/C++), with built-in libraries for LoRaWAN communication. Digi XCTU simplifies module configuration, and developers can integrate the kit with The Things Stack (TTS) as an alternative open-source LoRaWAN network server. Additionally, sensor data can be logged and visualized using Qwiic Python libraries, Grafana, and Node-RED, while security is managed through Mbed TLS, MQTT, and HTTP APIs.

Because of regional compatibility, the development kit comes in two variants: one for North America and one for Europe. The main difference between the two is that radio frequencies are designed to comply with the regional regulations in each area. other features remain the same.

The Digi X-ON Kit (NA & EU) is available for pre-order at $395 on SparkFun. For details, check the product pages for the Digi HX15 Gateway, SparkFun IoT Node for LoRaWAN, and ENS160/BME280 sensor.
