ASRock Industrial Unveils NUC(S) Ultra 200 and AMD 4X4 AI300 Series motherboard with Intel Core Ultra 200H (Arrow Lake-H) and AMD Ryzen AI 300 Processors

Following Intel and AMD’s latest SoC announcements at CES 2025, ASRock Industrial introduced the NUC(S) Ultra 200 BOX and NUC Ultra 200 Motherboard Series, powered by Intel Core Ultra 200H Arrow Lake-H processors with up to 99 TOPS of AI inferencing power. The company also unveiled the 4X4 BOX AI300 and 4X4 AI300 Motherboard Series, featuring AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors with up to 50 TOPS of NPU performance.

Intel vs. AMD: Feature Comparison

While ASRock Industrial has not directly compared Intel’s and AMD’s AI-driven solutions, key differences emerge:

• Video Output: AMD’s 4X4 AI300 supports 8K @ 60Hz via HDMI, whereas Intel’s NUC Ultra 200 is limited to 4K @ 60Hz.
• USB Connectivity: AMD models include two USB4 ports, while Intel has only one USB4/Thunderbolt 4.
• Networking:
  • Intel models: Dual 2.5GbE ports.
  • AMD models: 2.5GbE + 1GbE.
• Additional Features:
  • Intel’s models offer SATA support and a COM/serial interface.
  • AMD’s models lack SATA and COM ports but feature AMD FW TPM security.

ASRock Industrial’s latest NUC(S) Ultra 200 and 4X4 AI300 Series PCs and motherboards showcase the growing integration of AI inferencing capabilities in compact computing solutions. While Intel’s Arrow Lake-H processors provide higher AI inferencing power (up to 99 TOPS) and better connectivity, AMD’s Ryzen AI 300 models offer superior display output (8K 60Hz), dual USB4 ports, and competitive AI performance (50 TOPS). Both product lines cater to AI-driven applications, gaming, and content creation, but Linux compatibility remains uncertain based on ASRock’s official documentation.
