The Clintech Raspberry Pi Pico Board brings more flexibility to developers who need additional GPIOs without moving away from the familiar Raspberry Pi Pico form factor. Built around the Raspberry Pi RP2354B microcontroller, the board exposes all 48 GPIO pins, adds a dedicated QSPI interface for external memory, and keeps full compatibility with existing Pico-based hardware. It targets robotics, industrial control, sensor networks, display projects, and other embedded applications that require more I/O than the standard Pico 2 provides.

Unlike the Raspberry Pi Pico 2, which exposes only 26 GPIOs, the Clintech board unlocks the full capability of the RP2354B. It also replaces the Micro USB connector with a USB Type-C port while maintaining the compact 51 × 21 mm DIP-40 footprint. Additional through-holes provide access to every GPIO and the QSPI interface, making the board suitable for advanced prototyping and custom hardware development.

The Raspberry Pi Pico Board supports the same software ecosystem as other RP2350-based platforms. Developers can use the official Raspberry Pi SDK, MicroPython, and other RP2350-compatible development tools. Clintech also provides open documentation, including the board schematic, KiCad footprint, cpb.h board definition file, and demo firmware. Since the board follows the original Pico footprint, existing projects and software require little or no modification when migrating to the new hardware.

The Clintech Pico Board (CPB) is currently available through a Crowd Supply crowdfunding campaign, which has already achieved its funding goal. Backers can pledge $19 for one board, with shipping starting at $8 within the US and $18 internationally. Orders placed now are expected to ship by November 30, 2026.
