Waveshare RP2350 Devkit – A Round Touch Display with Optional Speaker and Battery

Waveshare RP2350-Touch-LCD-1.85C is a Raspberry Pi RP2350-based display development board with a 1.85-inch round capacitive touchscreen, a 6-axis IMU, a built-in microphone, a GPIO header, a microSD card, a USB-C port, and much more. The company also has a box variant RP2350-Touch-LCD-1.85C-BOX, which holds a speaker and battery for HMI and portable applications.

If the design looks familiar, it is because Waveshare previously released the Waveshare ESP32-S3 1.8-inch Knob display and RP2350-LCD-1.28 with a very similar design. However, this new model uses a Raspberry Pi RP2350A instead of the ESP32-S3, meaning it lacks Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity but gains the dual-core Cortex-M33/RISC-V architecture of the RP2350, which is also true for the RP2350-LCD-1.28.

As the device is built around an RP2350, it can be programmed with Raspberry Pi C/C++ SDK, MicroPython, and the Arduino IDE, with Waveshare providing example projects on their Wiki page for LVGL-based demos for the round touchscreen, audio, sensors, and storage. This makes it easy to get started with both simple tests and more advanced graphical HMI applications.
