Forlinx Unveils Rockchip RK3572 SoM and Development Board for AIoT
Powered by Rockchip RK3572, the new platform combines an octa-core CPU, 4 TOPS NPU, Linux 6.12 support, and extensive industrial I/O.
Forlinx has launched the Rockchip RK3572 SoM, becoming one of the first companies to offer a system-on-module based on Rockchip’s new RK3572 processor. Designed for AIoT, industrial automation, smart security, edge computing, medical devices, and HMI applications, the module combines an octa-core CPU, a 4 TOPS NPU, and extensive industrial connectivity in a compact form factor.
Alongside the module, the company also introduced the OK3572-C development board, which exposes the processor’s interfaces for evaluation and product development. The platform supports Linux 6.12, Debian 13, Android 16, and Forlinx Desktop 24.04, providing developers with multiple software options for embedded projects.

Forlinx FET3572-C (Bottom)
The Rockchip RK3572 SoM fills the gap between the RK3568 and RK3576 processors. It combines a heterogeneous CPU architecture with a 4 TOPS NPU and modern multimedia capabilities, making it suitable for machine vision, edge AI inference, industrial gateways, smart displays, and embedded control systems. The module also includes a DSMC parallel bus that enables direct communication with FPGA and DSP devices for applications that require low-latency data transfer.
