IBASE IBR500 3.5-inch SBC

The IBR500, a RISC-based 3.5-inch single board computer (SBC) designed to accommodate portable, low-power, and performance-driven applications in edge, IoT, and artificial intelligence deployments, was introduced by IBASE Technology Inc. The SBC, which is based on MediaTek Genio processors, amalgamates dual Cortex-A78 and hexa Cortex-A55 cores with a shared 2 MB L3 cache. It integrates the MediaTek Genio 700 (MT8390) at up to 2.2 GHz or the Genio 510 (MT8370) at 2.0 GHz.

By providing 64GB or 128GB of onboard eMMC 5.1 storage and 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR4 memory, the IBR500 SBC improves system reliability by doing away with the need for external memory modules. The IBR500 provides fluid, high-resolution graphics performance by bolstering dual display outputs with HDMI 2.0 at 4K60 and HDMI 1.4 at FHD60. The SBC boasts a full range of I/O options, including GbE LAN, two USB 3.0 ports, RS-232, audio line-out, and GPIO headers. Expansion supports wireless options with an M.2 E-Key (2230) slot that supports WiFi6 2T2R + BT 5.2 connectivity. Offering up to 3.2 TOPS AI inference capability, it enables real-time vision analytics, intelligent edge computing, and advanced digital signage applications.
