Luckfox Aura Brings RV1126B AI Processing to Embedded Linux Projects
The Luckfox Aura combines a quad-core RV1126B SoC, 3 TOPS NPU, Wi-Fi 6, dual CSI, and 4K video support for AI and edge computing applications.
Luckfox Aura
LUCKFOX has launched the Luckfox Aura, a compact Linux Development Board built around the Rockchip RV1126B processor for AI vision, robotics, edge computing, and multimedia applications. The board combines a quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 CPU running at 1.6GHz with a 3 TOPS NPU, allowing developers to run AI inference workloads, object detection, face recognition, and lightweight large language models directly on the edge device.
The Linux Development Board also targets embedded multimedia applications with support for 4K H.264/H.265 encoding and decoding, dual MIPI CSI camera interfaces, and a 4-lane MIPI DSI display output. LUCKFOX offers several memory and storage variants, including up to 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB eMMC flash storage. The board further integrates Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, Gigabit Ethernet with PoE support, and Raspberry Pi HAT-compatible GPIO expansion.
Previously, we covered several Linux Development Boards, including the Luckfox Pico WebBee RV1103, SKY Linux Development Board, HiFive Unleashed, and MicroZed. Feel free to check them out if you are interested in similar embedded and AI-focused platforms.
