The Radxa ROCK 5T is a compact single-board computer (SBC) based on the Rockchip RK3588 or RK3588J (industrial-grade) SoC, designed to provide high-performance computing in a smaller 110x80mm form factor while retaining most features of the larger ROCK 5 ITX mini-ITX board.

This compact SBC is built around an RK3588 octa-core CPU (4x Cortex-A76, 4x Cortex-A55), a Mali-G610MC4 GPU, a 6 TOPS NPU for AI acceleration, and up to 32GB LPDDR5 RAM. Storage options include dual M.2 2280 sockets for NVMe SSDs, a microSD card slot, and optional eMMC. It supports up to four independent displays via HDMI, USB-C (DisplayPort), and MIPI DSI, with an HDMI input and multiple camera interfaces.

Networking options include two 2.5GbE RJ45 ports (one with optional PoE), onboard WiFi 6/6E & Bluetooth 5.x, and an M.2 Key-B slot for 4G/5G connectivity. Other features include multiple USB ports, a 40-pin Raspberry Pi-compatible GPIO header, a PWM fan connector, and a 12V DC barrel jack for power. All these features make the ROCK 5T ideal for industrial automation, edge computing, AI applications, media processing, and IoT solutions.

The ROCK 5T supports both commercial and industrial temperature ranges, unlike the ROCK 5 ITX (commercial only). To make the SBC smaller some of the features from the ITX board are removed, including the 24-pin ATX connector, front panel header, four SATA ports, two USB 3.1 Type-A ports, and the M.2 Key-E socket. Instead, the ROCK 5T offers soldered WiFi 6/6E & Bluetooth 5.x, a 2-pin RTC battery connector, a new 24GB RAM option, a 40-pin Raspberry Pi-compatible GPIO header, and an M.2 Key-B slot with Nano SIM for cellular connectivity.

The ROCK 5T supports Debian-based Radxa OS and Android. The 16GB RAM version costs $139.50, while the 32GB RAM version is $219.50 on Arace Tech. More details are available on the documentation and product pages.
