The Waveshare 5G/4G/3G Module is a high-speed wireless communication module designed to add 5G connectivity and GNSS positioning to NVIDIA Jetson Orin systems. Available with either the SIM8260G-M2 (global) or SIM8262E-M2 (non-Americas) module options, it supports 5G NSA and SA networking for AI edge devices, robotics, and industrial IoT gateways.

Built around the Qualcomm Snapdragon X62 platform, it supports multi-mode, multi-band 5G, 4G, and 3G standards with data rates up to 3.47Gbps (DL) and 900Mbps (UL). Connectivity options include a USB 3.1 interface for Jetson Orin, PC, or Raspberry Pi, a standard M.2 B-key slot, dual SIM (Nano + eSIM) support, GNSS, and an onboard audio circuit for voice and SMS over AT commands. Additional features include quad SMA antenna connectors, reset/power controls, 3A power circuitry, and compatibility with Windows, Ubuntu, Raspberry Pi OS, and OpenWRT.
