Youyeetoo K1 – A Palm-Sized x86 Edge AI SBC with Intel N100 SoC
The Youyeetoo K1 is an ultra-compact x86 Edge AI SBC with an Intel N100 CPU, dual 4K HDMI, dual GbE, M.2 NVMe/SATA, LPDDR5, and various industrial I/O
Youyeetoo K1 ultra-compact x86 Edge AI SBC
Youyeetoo has recently released the K1, a new modular Edge AI SBC built around the Intel N100 x86 Processor “Alder Lake-N” quad-core chip. Unlike the standard N100 Mini PCs like the MeLE QuieterDL, Palmshell SLiM X4L, or the MINIX Z100-AERO, the K1 adopts a SoM plus Carrier Board approach designed with industrial interfaces like 27x GPIOs, 4x UARTs, and MIPI/eDP display options alongside standard features like Dual 4K HDMI and Dual Gigabit Ethernet.
The system is built around an 82 × 71 mm Core Board (SoM) containing the CPU, RAM, and eMMC, and interestingly, the product page mentions that “SOM B” can be used independently, whereas the standard “SOM A” requires the carrier board for power. The SoM A varinet snaps onto a larger 134 × 92 mm carrier board that breaks out the physical I/O for industrial HMI, digital signage, and OpenWrt-based gateway applications.

Poor tutorials, almost impossible to design the IO board myself.
