The Raspberry Pi 500+ is the latest all-in-one keyboard PC in the Raspberry Pi lineup, built on the Raspberry Pi 5 platform. It upgrades the earlier Raspberry Pi 400/500 models with more memory, integrated storage, and a mechanical keyboard, targeting hobbyists, developers, and users looking for a compact personal computer solution.

The device features a 2.4GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A76 processor with RP1 I/O controller, 16GB of LPDDR4X-4267 RAM, and a preinstalled 256GB NVMe SSD via an internal M.2 slot (expandable up to 2280 form factor). Graphics support includes dual 4Kp60 micro HDMI outputs with H.265 decode, while connectivity covers Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and three USB ports. The integrated 84- to 88-key low-profile mechanical keyboard uses Gateron KS-33 Blue switches with per-key RGB lighting, powered by an RP2040 running QMK firmware, and it also supports Expansion through a horizontal 40-pin GPIO header.

Supports low-profile and aftermarket keycaps 

The company also mentions that the device supports custom low-profile keycaps. It supports most aftermarket keycap sets, and a key puller is included for easy customization.

The Raspberry Pi 500+ costs $200 on its own, or $220 if you get the desktop kit with extra accessories. Stores like Pimoroni, The Pi Hut, and PiShop have it listed, but it isn’t in stock yet.
