Sweden-based consumer electronics company Solder Party has just released two new RP2350 Compact Boards named the RP2350 Stamp, and RP2350 Stamp XL. The company has also released a carrier board that can be configured with either the RP2350 Stamp or the RP2350 Stamp XL. As the RP2350 Stamp has a more compact form factor the GPIO options are limited whereas the Stamp XL utilizes all the GPIOs found on the RP2350B MCU.

Previously we have written about many stamp-sized boards like the Waveshare RP2040-Tiny, the RPDot RP2040 the Pimoroni Tiny2040 and much more feel free to check those out if you are looking for some tiny and powerful development boards.

The RP2350 Stamp XL is a nice big module that looks very interesting to work with the new RP2350B MCU and the Arduino Mega-sized career board makes things a lot easier by making existing shields work with Arduino UNO and more.

RP2xxx Stamp Carrier XL Specifications

  • Compatibility:
    • Supports all RP2-based Stamp boards (RP2040 Stamp, RP2350 Stamp, RP2350 Stamp XL)
    • Mega/Due form factor for compatibility with many shields, including Uno shields
  • Stamp Mounting Options:
    • Combo 3-in-1 SMD/TH/FlexyPin Stamp footprint
    • Solder Stamp directly
    • Use 2mm pin headers + sockets for plug-in/out
    • Use FlexyPins for pop-in/out without soldering
    • Functions as Stamp flashing and testing jig
  • Power Options:
    • LiPo battery
