
STMicroelectronics STEVAL-MKI109D Evaluation Board Supports All ST MEMS Sensors with STM32 MCU

The STEVAL-MKI109D is a professional evaluation board designed for testing and optimizing ST MEMS sensors. It serves as a plug-and-play tool compatible with ST MEMS DIL24 adapter boards and supports multiple communication interfaces like I²C, I3C, SPI, and TDM.
The board is powered by the STM32H563ZI microcontroller. DSP and FPU capabilities are included, making it ideal for advanced data processing tasks such as optical (OIS) and electronic (EIS) image stabilization. It features software-adjustable power circuitry, allowing users to set sensor supply voltages between 0V and 3.6V, while also providing onboard current measurement for accurate monitoring. With USB firmware update support, an SD card slot, and a USB Type-C connector, it ensures a user-friendly experience for sensor evaluation.
Additionally, the STEVAL-MKI109D works seamlessly with the MEMS-Studio GUI, allowing engineers to monitor sensor data and optimize performance and commonly used in automotive, consumer electronics, and industrial applications, where accurate sensor data processing is crucial.

It is also compatible with all ST MEMS DIL24 adapter boards, supporting accelerometers, gyroscopes, IMUs, barometric pressure sensors, and presence detection modules.

ST makes different MEMS sensors like motion sensors, pressure sensors, biosensors, and microphones for cars, gadgets, and industrial use. These sensors work in phones, smartwatches, and driver assistance systems. Each one comes on a DIL24 board, so it’s easy to connect to the STEVAL-MKI109D, and there’s also a remote kit if you need to place the sensor away from the board.
