DFRobot’s 14-inch ultra-thin IPS bar capacitive touchscreen display with a 3.5:1 aspect ratio and 4K resolution. It supports ten-point capacitive touch input and features dual display interfaces: Type-C and HDMI. Compatible with 4K-capable systems such as the LattePanda Sigma, LattePanda 3 Delta, Raspberry Pi 4B, and Raspberry Pi 5, it delivers high-definition visuals and detailed display output.

Its bar-shaped design provides an elongated layout optimized for specific applications. The unique aspect ratio, combined with 4K resolution, ensures precise and clear visual presentations, making it suitable for applications requiring a clean and intuitive display interface.

The screen is ideal for retail countertops and shelf advertising scenarios, where its vibrant and high-resolution display highlights product details. It is also well-suited for measurement instruments, whose shape allows for organized data visualization. Additionally, it enhances smart terminal devices by providing seamless interaction and precise content delivery in self-service applications.

The Type-C interface simplifies setup by supporting video, audio, and touch signals through a single cable, reducing desk clutter and ensuring a cleaner workspace. Additionally, it supports reverse PD power delivery, allowing the screen to receive power through the same cable used for data transmission, enhancing convenience and efficiency for users.

The LattePanda 3 Delta uses a full-featured Type-C interface to handle audio/video, touch, and power signals with a single cable, simplifying the connection process. The display driver board provides reverse power to the 3 Delta through the same cable. Both Type-C ports on the driver board offer identical functionality, eliminating the need to distinguish between data and power ports and supporting blind insertion for added ease of use.

To connect the Raspberry Pi 4B, use the provided “Micro HDMI to Mini HDMI cable” for the display signal and a USB data cable from the Raspberry Pi to the USB-C CN4 port (labeled “TOUCH”) on the display driver board to enable touch functionality. The 2-pin spring-loaded power interface on the driver board can power the display using the Raspberry Pi, but for high-power operations, the Raspberry Pi should be powered separately through its USB interface.
