Dragon Q8B Qualcomm Snapdragon SBC
Radxa has introduced the Dragon Q8B, a compact Qualcomm Snapdragon SBC designed for edge AI, robotics, industrial automation, and intelligent vision applications. The board measures only 100 × 75 mm and combines the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 Compute Platform with dual 2.5GbE networking, multiple PCIe expansion interfaces, and support for up to three 4K displays.
Built on Qualcomm’s 5nm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 processor, the Dragon Q8B integrates an octa-core Kryo CPU with four Cortex-X1-based Kryo Prime cores clocked at up to 3.0 GHz and four Cortex-A78-based Kryo Gold cores running at up to 2.42 GHz. The platform also includes an Adreno 690 GPU and Qualcomm AI Engine that delivers up to 29 TOPS of AI performance for machine vision, speech processing, automation, and compact LLM workloads.

Radxa Dragon Q8B Interface
The board supports several operating systems including Radxa OS, Ubuntu, Armbian, Arch Linux, Nix OS, and Windows. Radxa also provides standard UEFI boot support, allowing users to boot unified ARM ISO images directly. Developers can access Qualcomm AI Hub to deploy pre-optimized AI models and accelerate on-device machine learning applications. Power Supply Interfaces
The Radxa Dragon Q8B currently accepts pre-orders through multiple retailers. AliExpress lists the board starting at $179.61 for the 4GB model, while 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB variants cost $254.87, $400.32, and $679.83, respectively. Arace Tech offers the 8GB and 16GB versions for $209 and $329, with shipments expected to begin on July 31, 2026. It is also available on Amazon.
