Chinese mini PC manufacturer MOREFINE is back with a new model, cleverly dubbed the MOREFINE G2. It’s essentially the same footprint and form factor as its predecessor, the MOREFINE G1, but this time it packs an NVIDIA RTX 5060Ti graphics card inside and supports Thunderbolt 5 and OCuLink. The video outputs include DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C, and HDMI 2.0 instead of 2.1, with its Thunderbolt 5 (Type-C) port supporting 80 Gbps of bidirectional data transfer as well as 100W of power delivery. This is on top of its Thunderbolt 5 upstream port, OCuLink (4.0 x 4), and three USB 3.2 5Gbps ports for more peripherals. The MOREFINE G2 External GPU Docking Station comes with three cooling modes based on the workload: Silent, Auto, and Performance.

Previously, we also covered other docking solutions, including the Action Star USB4 Penta-4K120 and the Raspberry Pi Zero Docking Hub. Feel free to check them out if you’re interested in these products.

It can also deliver great 1080p and 1440p gaming performance as a GPU for AI workloads, with MOREFINE G2 synthetic benchmark results showing a 3DMark Time Spy score of 12,893 when paired with an AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 processor. The RTX 5060 Ti has 16GB of GDDR7 memory and Tensor Cores for up to 759 AI TOPS of performance. The MOREFINE G2 External GPU Docking Station for gaming and 3D modeling runs the internal fan at full speed (100%), while the Silent mode limits the fan speed to 70%.

The price of the Nvidia eGPU is currently $1,099 and it is in the pre-order phase. These early orders are scheduled to ship by May 20, 2026, Morefine stipulates.
