Forlinx OK1126Bx-C SBC Features Rockchip RV1126B SoC and Raspberry Pi header

Targeting AI vision and edge computing, this compact development board delivers powerful neural processing capabilities alongside exceptional standby efficiency at just 0.007W

Forlinx Embedded has introduced the OK1126Bx-C, a new SBC designed for edge AI, embedded vision, and AIoT applications. Built around the ultra-compact FET1126Bx-C SoM, this development platform uses the Rockchip RV1126B and RV1126BJ processors to deliver up to 3 TOPS of AI performance in a ruggedized, industrial footprint.

We have previously worked on other SoMs and SBCs built around the Rockchip RV1126 and RV1126B SoCs, including the Graperain RV1126B SoM, the Luckfox Aura dev board, and Forlinx’s own FET1126Bx-S SoM. Compared to those and earlier solutions, the Forlinx carrier board introduces a 40-pin Raspberry Pi-compatible GPIO header for easier prototyping and hardware expansion.

Forlinx OK1126Bx-C SBC based on the Rockchip RV1126B/RV1126BJ SoC and FET1126Bx-C SoM.

Forlinx OK1126Bx-C specifications:

Forlinx provides a Board Support Package (BSP) running Linux 6.1.141 for the board, along with an OS image, testing demos, source code, and comprehensive hardware documentation, including datasheets, user guides, carrier board schematics, and PCB files. But to get those, you need to contact the company directly.

The OK1126Bx-C carrier board measures 120 x 75 mm and exposes most of the SoM’s interfaces, including a Gigabit Ethernet port, dual MIPI CSI camera inputs, MIPI DSI, and multiple USB ports. It also supports ultra-low-power standby (0.007W) with Always On Audio (AOA) and Always On Video (AOV) capabilities, making it well-suited for 24/7 battery-powered security systems and remote monitoring.

The Forlinx OK1126Bx-C SBC and FET1126Bx-C SoM are available now with lead times of typically 5 working days for samples and 6 weeks for bulk orders. You can find more information and inquire about pricing on the Forlinx product page.
