The display has not it’s own battery so it must be connected to a wall adapter as long as in use and you can even charge your smartphone connected to it.

I have this monitor, it arrived for my birthday, and now I wan to try a couple of things, the first is making it wireless usb.. then to make it wireless hdmi.. do you have any suggestions as to what I should use. and the ports for the usb-c are they able to hold a double usb dock?
