Alinx has introduced the HEA13, a high-performance platform in the FPGA development boards market that combines the AMD Virtex UltraScale+ XCVU13P FPGA with support for both NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin and Jetson Thor modules. The platform connects the FPGA and Jetson module through a PCIe Gen3 x8 interface, making it suitable for robotics, industrial vision, edge AI, and compute acceleration applications. The FPGA subsystem is based on the AMD Virtex UltraScale+ XCVU13P-2FHGB2104I, featuring 3.78 million logic cells, 12,288 DSP slices, and 454.5Mb of on-chip memory. The ACVU13 core board also integrates 20GB of DDR4 memory in two 10GB banks with 80-bit interfaces, along with 256MB of QSPI flash storage.

For high-speed connectivity and expansion, the HEA13 FPGA development board offers four QSFP28 ports supporting up to 100Gbps, two FMC+ connectors, Gigabit Ethernet, UART, and a microSD card slot. The supported NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin module delivers up to 275 TOPS of AI performance, while the Jetson Thor module provides up to 2070 TOPS along with up to 128GB of LPDDR5X memory. Additional Jetson-side interfaces include DisplayPort output, USB 3.2 Type-C ports, M.2 slots for NVMe SSD and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth modules, Ethernet connectivity, microSD storage, and a 40-pin expansion header.

We have previously covered several FPGA development boards, including the Alchitry, Terasic DE25-Nano, and Shrike platforms. Feel free to check out these products if you are interested in FPGA-based development.
