The Waveshare ESP32-S3 1.47-inch Touch Display Development Board is a compact ESP32-S3-based development board with a built-in IPS touch screen, designed for IoT, HMI, and smart device applications. It combines wireless connectivity, graphics support, and various interfaces, making it suitable for prototyping wearables, handheld devices, and interactive control systems.

Built around the ESP32-S3R8 dual-core LX7 processor (up to 240MHz), the module features 16MB Flash, 8MB PSRAM, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), and Bluetooth 5 (LE) connectivity. It features a 1.47-inch capacitive touch IPS LCD (172×320, 262K colors), SPI display driver, and I2C touch controller, with support for GUI frameworks like LVGL. Additional hardware includes a MicroSD card slot, USB Type-C, reset/boot buttons, GPIO headers for peripheral expansion, onboard antenna, and low-power operation modes. Its combination of display, wireless, and storage makes it usable for AIoT, HMI panels, small-scale multimedia, and embedded control applications.
