MPS’ MP8774H is a fully integrated, high-frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down, switch-mode converter with internal power MOSFETs. This device achieves 12 A of continuous output current with excellent load and line regulation over a wide input range from 3 V to 18 V. The MP8774H uses synchronous mode operation for higher efficiency over the output current load range. Full protection features include short-circuit protection (SCP), overcurrent protection (OCP), undervoltage protection (UVP), and thermal shutdown. COT control operation provides very fast transient response, easy loop design, and very tight output regulation. The MP8774H is available in a QFN-16 (3 mm x 3 mm) package.
