Seeed Studio 2-Channel Wi-Fi AC Relay Modul Supports Home Assistant and Adds Energy Tracking to Smart Home
Seeed Studio has recently launched a 2-channel Wi-Fi AC Relay Modul built around the XIAO ESP32-C3 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module. Designed for remote control and energy monitoring, the device can manage two independent 100-240V AC appliances and comes preloaded with ESPHome firmware, making it compatible with Home Assistant for seamless integration.
It also features a BL0942 power meter for real-time and historical energy tracking, supporting a maximum load of 2400W per channel at 240V. Key features include dual relay channels, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity, and precise energy measurement with a 0.1% error rate. The module is ideal for applications such as energy tracking and smart home automation but may require additional work for wall installation. The company also provides Open-source 3D enclosure designs that you can customize according to your needs.
After going through the specifications, it is very similar to a SONOFF device, and we have previously written about similar SONOFF devices like the SONOFF MINIR4, and the SONOFF POW Elite feel free to check those out if you are interested in SONOFF devices.
