TLR1901GXZ CMOS Op Amp
A standout feature of the TLR1901GXZ is its low operating circuit current, which is rated at 160 nA. This low power consumption is a key factor in extending the operational time of battery-driven equipment. The device’s performance is further enhanced by its high-accuracy specifications. It boasts an input offset voltage of 0.55 mV (max), which, according to Rohm, represents around a 45% improvement over standard comparable products. This reduction in offset voltage aims to minimize errors in signal amplification, leading to more accurate sensor measurements.
In addition to its low offset voltage, the TLR1901GXZ demonstrates stable performance across a wide temperature range, with a maximum input offset voltage temperature drift of 7 µV/°C. This ensures reliable and precise operation in diverse environmental conditions, which is crucial for both industrial and consumer devices.

A Flexible, Compact Design
To achieve its compact form factor, the op amp utilizes a wafer level chip scale package (WLCSP) with a fine ball pitch of 0.35 mm, resulting in a footprint of less than 1 mm². This miniaturization facilitates high-density mounting, enabling a smaller overall board size in compact applications.
For design flexibility in applications requiring gain adjustment, the device can be paired with Rohm’s ultra-compact general-purpose resistors, such as the MCR004 and MCR006. Additionally, adapter boards featuring the SSOP5 package are available to assist engineers with initial evaluation and design-in processes.

Precise, Low Power Amplification
The TLR1901GXZ operational amplifier provides a compelling solution for engineers designing power-sensitive, high-precision electronics. By combining an ultra-low operating current of 160 nA with a low input offset voltage of 0.55 mV, the device is well-suited for applications where both prolonged battery life and measurement accuracy are paramount. These characteristics make it a viable choice for integration into sensor-based systems found in handheld measurement instruments, wearable devices, and motion detectors.
