Rimu is a Modular IoT Development Platform for Hardware & Software Development

China-based company Dengtec has recently announced RIMU a Modular IoT Development Platform designed to bridge the gap between humans and technology, aimed at helping developers and manufacturers realize their creative visions efficiently.

The device is built around an ESP32 chip, with a 4.3-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPIO pins, and a variety of hardware functionalities. Its modular design allows easy integration with sensors and peripherals, and it supports several structures for different environments, including magnetic suction, external antenna, tripod, and DIN35 rail mounts.

The device features various functions such as a calculator, world clock, alarm clock, and Bluetooth, offering a personalized user experience, while its modular design reduces costs and promotes sustainability. The device is particularly useful in home automation, workspace optimization, industrial automation, scientific research, and educational applications. With the flexibility of adding various modules (e.g., RFID, DMX512, stepper motors), RIMU adapts to diverse needs, making it a powerful tool for innovation in a wide range of fields.
