Radxa Linkr: Tiny USB-Sized IP KVM for Remote PC Control

HDMI capture, USB emulation, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, and Tailscale let Linkr remotely access PCs, servers, and developer boards—even before the OS boots.

Radxa Linkr USB-Sized IP KVM

Radxa recently announced a tiny remote-control unit called the Linkr for logging into computers, servers and developer boards via a web browser. The unit provides a combination of HDMI video capture with USB keyboard and mouse emulation, so users can view and control a target system independent of the need to connect a dedicated monitor, keyboard or mouse.

Radxa Linkr is a small IP KVM, a bit larger than a USB flash drive, that transmits data to the target via HDMI and USB for video and keyboard and mouse emulation. The user can control it over USB-C, Ethernet or Wi-Fi client/access point, even before the OS boots. Linkr has a built-in Tailscale client, so users can access it from outside your local network. With a connection to a Tailnet, the device is reachable via an encrypted connection and no public IP address or manual port forwarding is needed.

Previously, we have covered several KVM solutions, including the Sipeed NanoKVM-Go, GL.iNet Comet 5G RedCap, Sipeed NanoKVM-USB, GL.iNet Comet PoE, Luckfox PicoKVM, GL.iNet Comet (GL-RM1) Remote KVM, and many more. Feel free to check out these KVM solutions if you’re interested in exploring more options.
