Provisions offered in MCU1

The T-Bao Face Recognition System is powered by a highly capable ESP32-D0WDQ6-V3 microcontroller (MCU1). This microcontroller features a dual-core Xtensa  LX6 processor running at 240MHz, ensuring quick and efficient processing for complex tasks like face recognition. With 16MB of flash memory, this gadget provides ample space to store data. Additionally, its 8MB of PSRAM is good enough to make it more than capable of ensuring smooth multitasking. It is also capable of handling resource-intensive operations.

It supports Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), which ensures that communication with networks is fast and reliable, and Bluetooth V4.2 + BLE, which allows pairing with other devices in a simple and versatile manner. The wireless options ensure that T-Bao integrates perfectly into smart systems for home automation, security setups, or advanced IoT applications.

Equipment within MCU2:

T-Bao sports the K210 RISC-V Dual Core 64-bit processor (MCU2), for applications that run on AI, and has an FPU floating point unit to ensure proper calculations in facial recognition. It runs on FreeRTOS to guarantee real-time responsiveness for all critical tasks. The camera processes QVGA at 60 FPS or VGA at 30 FPS for fast recognition. The OV2640 2MP camera helps capture clear images to support accuracy.

It includes a DRV8833 motor driver in motor control, an AXP202 PMU on energy optimization, and a 6-axis MPU6050 sensor for movement detection. Compact at 53 X 64 x (43+35)mm in size, it easily blends with other systems. It allows for USB charging at 5V and 500 mA. Thus, the T-Bao is a handy, versatile, and user-friendly developer solution for a wide range of smart applications.

The MAX98357A is a high-performance 12S digital audio amplifier that delivers 3.2W of output power into a 4Ω speaker, which makes it suitable for compact, high-quality audio applications, This Audio solution is accompanied by a 1.54-inch IPS capacitive touch LCD with a resolution of 240×240 pixels, driven by the ST7789 screen driver. Also, this combination provides vibrant visuals, precise touch, and exceptional sound, ideal for interactive audio systems, compact devices, and IoT applications.

Additionally, the package comes with 3 elements, namely a T-Bao board, a downloader, and a Type-C cable. This platform simplifies mastery of development boards for engineers, students, and makers who have basic programming language skills.
