NVIDIA has recently introduced Project DIGITS, a personal AI supercomputer powered by the new GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, designed for AI researchers, data scientists, and students.

It delivers up to 1 petaflop of AI performance with FP4 precision, featuring an NVIDIA Blackwell GPU, 20-core Grace CPU, and NVLink-C2C interconnect for seamless integration. With 128GB of unified memory and up to 4TB NVMe storage, users can run large language models with up to 200 billion parameters, while they can link two units for 405-billion-parameter models.

Running on Linux-based NVIDIA DGX OS, it supports AI development using NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, NeMo, RAPIDS, and common frameworks like PyTorch and Jupyter notebooks. Ideal for prototyping, fine-tuning, and deploying AI models, it enables users to seamlessly transition from local desktops to cloud and data centre infrastructure.

NVIDIA AI supercomputer

Previously, NVIDIA launched its Jetson Orin Nano Super Developer Kit,  which has generative AI capabilities. Project DIGITS is not the first supercomputer we have covered, but we also wrote about Auterion AI Node, an onboard computer for drones and other mobile robots. Feel free to check them out if you are interested.

At the time of writing, apart from the news page, we have less information about this product. However, users can register on the NVIDIA website to receive updates and notifications. Project DIGITS will be available in May 2025, starting at $3,000.
