AAEON has launched the BOXER-8654AI-KIT, a development kit powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX module, available in 8GB and 16GB variants. The carrier board provides extensive I/O features, including six USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, four LAN ports with optional PoE, an Out-of-Band (OOB) management header, and dual DB-9 ports supporting RS-232/422/485 and CANBus. Display options include an HDMI Type-A port and two MIPI CSI connectors, each supporting dual MIPI cameras. Additional interfaces include a 40-pin NVIDIA Jetson-compatible header offering I2C, SPI, UART, and more.

The kit supports M.2 E and B-key slots for Wi-Fi and 5G modules, with an onboard SIM for cellular connectivity, as well as storage options via an M.2 M-Key slot for NVMe SSDs and a SATA slot. Preloaded with NVIDIA Jetpack 6.0 SDK, the kit includes tools like CUDA, cuDNN, TensorRT, Vulkan, and OpenCV, enabling efficient development of AI, multimedia, and graphics applications.
