The ASUSTOR Flashstor 6 Gen2 and Flashtor 12 Pro Gen2 (FS6812X) are high-performance NAS (Network Attached Storage) devices powered by an AMD Ryzen Embedded V3C14 processor with Zen 3 cores, offering efficient operation and low power consumption. These NASs are super fast! They have USB4 ports that can transfer data at 40 gigabits per second. That is very quick, even for big files like 4K videos. The Flashstor Gen2 series operates on ASUSTOR Data Master (ADM 5.0) running Linux 6.6, which is accessible via a web interface. Additionally, it has supports for Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server editions (2016, 2019, 2022), macOS, UNIX, and BSD. For storage, it uses EXT4 and Btrfs for internal drives, while external drives connected through USB or Thunderbolt are compatible with multiple file systems, such as FAT32, NTFS, EXT3, EXT4, HFS+, exFAT, and Btrfs.
